Overview

BIOWEG is seeking a Project Manager with a background in Architecture or Civil Engineering to manage our grant with German government bodies. This role will be responsible for maintaining clear, accurate and timely communication, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and supporting the overall operational flow of the project with an understanding of technical and regulatory needs.

If you are highly organized, proactive and motivated to contribute to a fast-growing biotech startup, this position offers a unique opportunity to support strategic projects.

Your Role

Manage all communication and reporting related to the grant, ensuring compliance with administrative and regulatory requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for local and regional authorities
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers involved in the project, ensuring clear and timely information flow
Prepare, track and organize project documentation, approvals and correspondence
Support internal teams with project planning, scheduling and status updates
Follow up on deadlines, submissions and deliverables to ensure smooth project progress
Assist with administrative tasks related to procurement, documentation and project tracking

Your Profile

Background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
Proven experience in project coordination, project management, public administration, or working with governmental bodies/authorities
Strong hands-on approach, with the ability to actively support and follow up on projects from planning through execution
Fluent German and English language skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders andmaintainclear, structured communication
Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Goodcommand of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Interest in biotechnology, sustainability, or innovation is a plus
